Christian Kreuder-Sonnen is a research fellow in the Global Governance department of the WZB Berlin Social Science Center and Scientific Coordinator of the DFG Research Group OSAIC . After completing the BTS program, he received his PhD from the Free University Berlin in 2016. He held pre- and postdoctoral positions at Ludwig Maximilian University’s Chair for Global Governance and Public Policy and the Chair for International Relations. In 2015, he was a junior visiting scholar at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. His research interest lies at the intersection of international law and international relations and focuses on the rise of authority exercised by international organizations. His doctoral dissertation is entitled ‘Emergency powers of international organizations. Between normalization and containment.’ Related articles have been published in the European Journal of International Relations, the Journal of Common Market Studies, and Global Constitutionalism, among others.
